The Building the Road to Recovery Groundbreaking Ceremony held on January 17, 2017, marked a historic day for Dimock, the recovery community, the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Dr. Lucy Sewall Center for Acute Treatment Services will increase access to substance use disorder treatment, serving 4,000 men and women annually. The building will also house our outpatient treatment services, creating a link to long-term recovery support.
We express our deepest gratitude to the members of the Campaign Task Force Committee: Co-Chairs Arlene Fortunato and Peter Roberts, Ediss Gandelman, George MacNaught and Stuart Patterson.
Their leadership and hard work over the past two years laid the foundation for the campaign’s success. Indeed, George MacNaught crafted the campaign name Building the Road to Recovery, which captures the hope for people on their recovery journeys.
